The Missions We Support
Christian Symbols Unlimited uses all profits for the support of the Lord's work in several different areas. These include:
Missionary Scholarship Fund
A fund for college-age children of missionaries serving in foreign countries. This scholarship fund pays all expenses for such students as long as they agree to return to the mission field upon graduation from a Christian college. The philosophy is that those who have grown up on a foreign mission field already know the language and customs, and therefore make ideal missionary candidates.
Colombian Christian Mission
Dale and Jeanie Meade have been missionaries to Colombia, South America since 1975. Support is provided for regular evangelistic work as well as scholarships for several students at the mission school. Visit the www.supportccm.com web site for further information.
Jeff and Sherrie Hostetter
Jeff and Sherrie have been missionaries to Ghana, Africa since 1983. Jeff's father was also a missionary to Africa. Evangelism, church planting, and a Christian Academy are the primary areas of emphasis. The Hostetter's oldest daughter is a teacher at the Academy, a second daughter serves with her husband as missionaries to India, and their son and his wife are now in the process of establishing a new mission effort in Buea, Cameroon. Jeff can be contacted at hostettersinghana@gmail.com.
Dale & Linda Marshall
Dale & Linda began serving as missionaries to Zimbabwe, Africa in 1966 and over the next 40+ years they established 190 new congregations. Because of serious health problems the Marshall's were recently forced to return to America. In recognition of their many years of dedicated service to Christ, we have continued to provide support during this difficult time of their lives.
International Disaster Emergency Services
IDES is located in Kempton, Indiana. This independent Christian benevolent organization raises funds to aid disaster victims around the world. It's unique approach funnels all aid through missionaries or churches already located in the affected area. This effective and economical method eliminates most distribution costs and allows the donated funds to go directly to those in need. Visit www.ides.org for more information.
